Meet Jarrod Thompson, the founder of J.S. Thompson Financial. Jarrod graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2013. After becoming securities licensed in early 2014, he spent 8 years working for a larger financial firm. This is where he began his journey specializing in assisting schools and non-profit organizations with their retirement benefits. Seeing the impact of guiding his clients gave him a calling to what is sometimes seen as an overlooked niche. In 2022, Jarrod moved on to go independent to offer clients a broader range of offerings tailored to their unique needs. With a decade of experience as a financial professional, he prides himself on providing personalized and comprehensive financial strategies.

Jarrod firmly believes the interconnection of people is key to moving society forward. When not assisting clients, he enjoys connecting with his community whether it's teaming up in sports or improving the foundation of where he lives. Outside of these activities, Jarrod is an avid concert-goer, so-called "plant daddy", and has been granted the rank of a Star Wars nerd. We hope you find J.S.
